On 11.12.2019, PTIM representatives were guests of Azerbaijan University of Languages. PTIM director Khalida Isayeva, PTIM coordinator Aygun Mammadli, IELTS and BUSINESS English trainer Eric Kao, head of Language Center of Azerbaijan University of Languages Salman Guliyev participated in the meeting.The purpose of the meeting was to inform ASU IV year students about the training and exams of Cambridge Assessment English held within PTIM.Salman Guliyev announced the meeting. Later, the word was passed to PTİM coordinator Aygün khanum. Ms. Aygün made a presentation speech about the international trainings and exams jointly organized by PTIM and Cambridge Assessment English. The presentation speech of PTIM, the official local representative of Cambridge Assessment English in Azerbaijan, covered the line of continuous development of young teachers in two directions. In her speech, Ms. Aygün noted that with the support of the center, teachers can take part in the Cambridge exams, which are proof of their language skills at an international level, and join international trainings in order to master international experience and modern teaching methods. The center recommends young and experienced teachers who want continuous professional development and certification to join trainings such as TKT, CELT-P, CELT-S and CELTA. As the official local representative of Cambridge Assessment, the center organizes these trainings and exams.Then the floor was given to Mrs. Khalida Isayeva. The Professional Training and Examination Center will present its graduates with certificates on October 19. At the end of 2019, the event is dedicated to the presentation of certificates of candidates who participated in Cambridge exams and training this year. Teachers and students participating in training and exams, as well as employees of PTIM were invited as guests to the event hosted by PTIM. PTIM, which started its activity 4 years ago, operates under the license of both the local representative of Cambridge Assessment English in Azerbaijan and the license of the Ministry of Economic Development. During this period of activity, more than 1500 teachers and students participated in the examinations and trainings organized by the center. PTIM has signed cooperation with various centers and high schools since its first activity. The largest employee of the center is Kaspi Education Company and Kaspi High Schools belonging to this company. Other centers collaborating with PTIM, centers such as ELC pro, ITAC, Zirve High School, will sign a partnership agreement in order to renew their cooperation for the 2019-2020 academic years. It should be noted that the aforementioned centers have been operating as a Cambridge exam preparation center for nearly 3 years based on their cooperation with PTIM, the local representative of Cambridge Assessment English.

The IELTS Teacher Trainer training organized by Professional Training and Examination Center and ITI has ended successfully. The training was held on January 7-18. The training was conducted by Liz Aykanat, a professional specialist in the IELTS exam, and was attended by teachers who had experience in teaching and who had just started this activity. At the end of the training, the participants were awarded with a certificate signed by ITI and PTIM of the two centers.

Cambridge Train the Trainer is designed for teachers who want to become English Language Teaching Trainers. The subject of the training allows methodologists, mentors and even teaching assistants to benefit from this training and apply it to their work environment. Methodist and mentor teachers engaged in direct lesson observation and feedback on observations can benefit from this training and show a more useful and professional approach in the work environment. The training will be held in English.
