First Certificate in English (FCE) and First Certificate for Schools (FCE fS)
The FCE exam certificate is accepted all over the world as an indicator corresponding to the B2 (Upper-intermediate) level of the English language. The FCE exam is intended for candidates over the age of 16.
FCE for Schools is a version of the FCE exam designed for school students over 12 years of age. Although the level of difficulty of this version is the same as the FCE exam, the topics covered are suitable for the interest of 12-17 year old students. The following facts about the structure of the exam, the exam results and the obtained certificate remain unchanged.
By obtaining an FCE and FCE fS certificate, you can study Foundation and Undergraduate at many colleges and universities around the world.

FCE Exam Structure:
The FCE exam consists of 4 parts:
Reading – 1 hour 15 minutes
It tests how well you understand original texts taken from books, newspapers and magazines.
Writing – 1 hour 20 minutes
Tests your ability to write essay, letter or report type texts.
Listening - 40 minutes
It tests how well you understand a fast spoken conversation about everyday topics.
Talk – 14 minutes
It tests how effectively you can communicate in different situations. Two or three students participate in the speaking exam at the same time. This allows the exam to be closer to the real situation and a more objective assessment of your speaking skills.
FCE Certificate
The FCE Certificate does not expire.
The FCE fS Certificate is valid until the candidate reaches 17 years of age.
